I am still working through this window series. It has been growing and shifting forms from sewn fabric tapestries, glowing light boxes in a darkened room, drawings on butcher paper, paintings on canvas and constructed cyanotypes. My name means blacksmith. These windows are portals and gates to me, barriers from and pathways into my blended histories. These windows emblematize my American, Lebanese, and French identities.
